A Virtually Unstoppable Social Innovation Forum.
HSIF brought together stories of cutting-edge technology, social progress, and environmental impact. The virtual event needed an experience built to match.

Bringing the forum experience online.
Virtual events were still finding their footing. Many could share content, but fewer could recreate the discovery, connection, and brand presence of being there in person.
Hitachi wanted to bring more of that feeling online.
They needed a branded environment that carried the energy of the Social Innovation Forum and gave attendees more ways to explore and participate.
So we helped build Beamsy, a custom virtual experience designed around storytelling, interaction, gamification, and measurable audience behavior.
The work received a 2021 MarCom Platinum Award.

Designed for discovery.
Hitachi needed more than a place to watch sessions. They needed a branded experience that felt active, ownable, and worth spending time with.
A custom virtual event experience that put the Hitachi brand at the center.
Interactive pathways that helped attendees move through sessions, stories, content, and experiences in their own way.
Gamification and a swag marketplace with inventory management to keep participation moving.
System integrations that made engagement data measurable, actionable, and useful beyond the event.
Engagement that kept moving.
The experience gave Hitachi more than a branded digital venue. It created a measurable channel for engagement, audience insight, and future touchpoints.
More than a one-time digital venue.
The platform was built to be owned, reused, and evolved.
Content could move in and out for future use. The journey could begin around the live event, then shift into exploration afterward. Attendee behavior could also feed business intelligence, helping Hitachi understand what people watched, where they engaged, and how those signals could support future communications.
The experience did not disappear when the forum ended. It became a connected channel Hitachi could keep learning from.

Built on a connected platform.
The experience brought together content, video, personalization, analytics, authentication, and cloud infrastructure so the forum could work before, during, and after the live event.
Behind the scenes, Adobe, Marketo, Brightcove, Power BI, SSO, and AWS services helped support a branded experience that was measurable, flexible, and ready to keep evolving.

This was one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of, in my entire career.

More ways into the story.
The experience gave attendees more than one way in.
Live sessions. Speaker content. Resource hubs. Social moments. Gamified prompts. Personalized pathways. A marketplace with real inventory behind it.
Every interaction gave Hitachi another way to extend the story, understand engagement, and make the virtual forum feel more connected, more useful, and more alive.
